"Fly Me to the Moon" adalah lagu standar yang populer dan ditulis oleh Bart Howard pada tahun 1954. Pada awal kemunculannya, lagu ini berjudul "In Other Words", dan diperkenalkan oleh Felicia Sanders dalam kabaret. Lagu tersebut diciptakan oleh Bart Howard (Howard Joseph Gustafson; 1 Juni 1915 - 21 Februari 2004) adalah komposer dan penulis dari lagu jazz "Fly Me To The Moon", yang telah dinyanyikan oleh penyanyi (antara lain) Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Della Reese, Diana Krall, Juni Astrud Gilberto dan Christy. Hal ini juga sering dimainkan oleh musisi jazz populer di seluruh dunia. Howard lahir di Burlington, Iowa. Ia memulai karirnya sebagai pemain piano pada usia 16 dan bermain untuk Mabel Mercer, Johnny Mathis dan Eartha Kitt. "Fly Me To the Moon" pertama kali dinyanyikan pada tahun 1954 oleh Felicia Sanders di klub "Blue Angel" di Manhattan. Bart Howard meninggal pada usia 88, di Carmel, New York. Sumber
